Qualifications

• Moderate commercial insurance experience (e.g., underwriting, claims, or insurance risk management or insurance related business development experience).
• Robust analytical, risk assessment, and relationship management skills, with the ability to evaluate complex exposures and make sound underwriting decisions
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain outstanding insured and broker contacts.

Responsabilités

• Underwriting both new and renewal business within assigned territory and supporting premium and rate goals.
• Developing, maintaining, and servicing broker relationships within the distribution model.
• Collaborating with Underwriting Manager to advance platform goals and financial plan.
• Interacting with insureds, brokers and producers to service accounts.
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting training within the team.
• Delivering risk management education and contract reviews as a product knowledge resource.
