Responsibilities

• Underwrite the unit's complex new and renewal business within remit, driving profitable premium and rate goals.
• Collaborate with brokers/agents to tailor policies to client needs.
• Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters.
• Exercise independent judgment in risk analysis and evaluation.
• Lead roundtable risk discussions and negotiate within delegated authority.
• Develop broker/client relationships and identify new distribution channels.
• Maintain product and market expertise to uncover hidden risks.
• Promote AXA XL through industry events and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.
