Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, seeks an underwriter to join the Central Zone underwriting team in the U.S. You’ll produce, underwrite and service a profitable book of new and renewal business within AXA XL guidelines.

You’ll review risk, determine terms and pricing, negotiate policy terms, and cultivate broker relationships regionally. You’ll develop underwriting strategies for renewals and targets, partnering with internal teams to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting and risk assessment.
• Strong negotiation and broker relationship skills.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and set terms within guidelines.
