Job summary

Westwood Professional Services seeks a Senior Underground Transmission Engineer to lead design teams on projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV, delivering robust underground transmission solutions.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management, and ensure schedule, budget, and safety requirements are met across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or related engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of underground transmission or related design experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on underground transmission design projects.
• Oversee schedules, staffing, and technical quality across 34.5kV–500kV projects.
• Mentor staff and maintain client relationships while expanding firm reach.
