Job summary

Loenbro, LLC seeks an Underground Maintenance & Installation Superintendent to plan, schedule, and oversee crews performing installation, maintenance and inspection projects. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating activities, using equipment, techniques and specifications to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

The role requires reading drawings, OSHA safety knowledge, crew supervision, bid reviews, and development of look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Superintendent experience in the construction of industrial projects.
• Experience managing projects and leading crews of up to 12 or more personnel.
• Understanding of industry standard scheduling software and reports; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
• Trench Safety Training.
• Background in underground installation of piping, trenching and excavating experience; underground boring experience.
• Submit time and units of measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read project drawings and interpret specifications.
• Supervise daily work of employees and ensure safety compliance.
• Support estimating with bid reviews and constructability reviews.
• Forecast, generate, and manage a project schedule with look-ahead planning.
• Ensure team follows safety rules and company policies.
• Review job costs and project performance focusing on production.
• Plan on-the-job training to improve safety and quality.
• Coordinate with client operations to create new opportunities for Loenbro.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Understand trench shoring methods.
• Travel may be required.
