Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Senior Mobile Maintenance Planner to support the Goldstrike operations. You will help optimize maintenance planning for underground assets, prioritizing work streams and improving reliability.

Responsibilities include weekly maintenance scheduling for UG and major repairs, KPI tracking, and coordinating with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution and parts availability, all within a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance planning experience in an underground mining environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle preferred.
• Validated safe work record required.
• Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position required.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduling of weekly maintenance plans for UG and Major Repair shop.
• Ensure proper job packets and schedules are maintained and distributed.
• Run and report on maintenance KPI's.
• Assist other planners in closing and scanning work orders.
• Communicate well with both operations and maintenance personnel.
• Improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems.
• Write purchase requisitions for unavailable material.
• Track progress of ordered material and schedule work once parts arrive.
• Assist the general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes in the preventative maintenance schedule necessitated by production/maintenance requirements.
