Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Senior Engineer Technical Specialist, Underground Mining to drive technical integrity and long-term planning for our mine sites. Hybrid role (75% site, 25% central) involving design, schedules, cost estimation, and roadmap delivery aligned with the LOM plan.

The role requires a strong background in mine operations and LOM planning, with leadership across cross-functional teams, and a commitment to safety and sustainable mining practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years in underground engineering with mining design and PM.
• Strong safety record and leadership.
• Deep understanding of mine operations, design principles, LOM planning.
• Experience leading large projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical excellence: oversight of forecasts and LOM plans.
• Develop and manage LOM technical roadmap.
• Drive growth projects: lead studies for LOM growth.
• Best practice implementation and cross-site collaboration.
• Utilize SME resources to address technical challenges.
