Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Senior Mine Engineer to drive technical integrity and long-term planning for our mine sites in a hybrid role (75% site-based / 25% central). You will oversee design, schedules, LOM cost estimation, and lead growth studies aligned with the Life of Mine plan.

The role requires a strong background in mine planning, design, and project management, with a focus on safety and cross-functional collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of mine engineering experience with strong background in mine planning, design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Technical Excellence: oversee major forecasts and LOM plans with technical rigor.
• Develop and Manage LOM Technical Roadmap: identify gaps and opportunities for future mining areas; develop scope and studies.
• Drive Growth Projects: lead technical initiatives and studies for LOM growth projects and ensure timely execution.
• Best Practice Implementation: identify and implement technical improvements; share best practices across sites.
• Utilize SME Resources: engage subject matter experts to address technical challenges.
• Other duties as assigned.
