Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for its North America MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team. You will be the primary technical contact, leading the design of Ultra Pure Water (UPW) treatment solutions for semiconductor applications.

You’ll combine advanced engineering with strong customer relationships and project leadership, managing the bid lifecycle from lead qualification through contract execution, with remote work across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Bid/proposal development experience with strong technical and commercial analysis.
• Track record in customer-facing technical sales or engineering roles.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development in partnership with Sales, organizing resources to meet deadlines.
• Translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions, optimizing positioning and value.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheet processes for water treatment challenges.
• Develop technical documentation including P&IDs and proposals.
• Manage cost estimation by partnering with Sourcing to obtain quotes and finalize pricing.
• Drive proposal development by leading meetings, reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Establish project timelines and prioritize deliverables while ensuring quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid development procedures and forecasting.
