Job summary

Simpro is seeking a Senior UX Designer to raise the design bar across the product organization. You’ll own and evolve the design system, set governance, and ensure consistency as AI accelerates development. You’ll lead user research and work with product and engineering on cross‑product features, prototyping quickly and mentoring peers.

You will translate concepts from wireframes to production‑ready design, collaborating with engineers and product teams in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience in B2B, B2C or SaaS.
• Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, not just polished screens.
• Hands-on experience with AI design and prototyping tools (Figma AI, Claude) and user research.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Simpro's design system and component library, setting the standards for PMs and engineers.
• Define UX guidelines, principles, and governance frameworks for scalable design quality.
• Lead user research initiatives—usability testing, discovery interviews, insights synthesis—and translate findings into product direction.
• Partner with product and engineering on cross-product features, facilitating trade-offs and advocating for users.
• Prototype and validate new concepts quickly to keep pace with AI-accelerated cycles.
• Coach and mentor designers on best practices and AI-age evolution.
