Job summary

The Bison Group LLC seeks a Unified Communications and Collaboration Operations Technician in Reston, VA to maintain and support UC&C services globally. You will work with Cisco CUCM, CMS, VCS, TMS, and Vbrick Rev to deliver VTC, VoIP/PBX, IM, presence, and related services. Security clearance required to start.

This role emphasizes technical guidance, training, and incident resolution, with duties spanning scheduling, monitoring, and patching to ensure secure, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with CI poly before start
• IAT II certification (mandatory)
• CCNA certification

Responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge of VoIP/PBX telephony systems, software and standards.
• Provide knowledge of IM systems like Cisco Jabber, Webex or MS Teams and Presence Services.
• Experience with Audio/Video Streaming including Vbrick Rev and IMC.
• Technical knowledge of VTC equipment such as TMS, CODEC, MCU and CMS.
• Train lower skill level staff and assist engineering with projects.
• Manage network topology and related hardware/software tools.
• Provide VTC service including scheduling, monitoring, admin support, and troubleshooting.
• Perform IOS and software upgrades; understand H.323, SIP, and E.164 dialing.
• Develop training materials and SOPs for UC environment.
• Patch systems and ensure network security policy compliance.
• Create/report notifications per SOP and participate in special projects.
