Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Test Technician III to assemble and test Unmanned Aerial System products in a manufacturing facility. You will follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions, using our work order system to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include working with hand tools, performing final assembly, troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering to improve procedures while maintaining safety and ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing/production in electronics or electromechanical assembly/test.
• Experience with hand tools (crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power/air tools).
• Able to solder as part of assembly function and duties.
• Strong manual dexterity and basic computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies with hand/power tools.
• Finish assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Follow work order protocols and complete paperwork as work is performed.
• Train other technicians and conduct in-process quality checks.
