Job summary

AeroVironment in California is seeking a Test Technician II to assemble and test Small UAV components in our manufacturing facility. You will follow engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, solder as part of assembly, and perform final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.

You will work with Production Technicians and Engineering to improve assembly documentation, ensure work orders are followed, conduct in-process quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment (electronics or electro-mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schedules.
• Proficient with hand tools and soldering as part of assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies and final assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and finished products.
• Follow work orders and complete related paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve assembly documentation and processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to procedures.
