Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer III to sustain engineering support for UAV systems and related assemblies. You will modify designs, develop prototype hardware, and support verification testing for production readiness.

You will also maintain manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and support reviews with project managers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma experience or Green Belt certification.
• 5–8 years of related engineering experience in design and production support.
• Experience with UAVs, RF/digital/communications electronics, PCB layout and ASME Y14 CAD standards.
• Strong configuration management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sustain engineering support for a product line and manage changes.
• Coordinate release of design documentation, BOMs, and procedures.
• Support transition of new products into production with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in proposals, contract reviews, and supplier coordination.
• Provide customer support for field issues and failure analysis.
