Job summary

AeroVironment in California seeks a Product Engineer I to deliver sustaining engineering for UAV systems, including design changes, prototype work, and documentation updates. You’ll support manufacturing, coordinate BOMs, and help with design reviews and project planning.

Qualification includes a related Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years' engineering experience; exposure to Altium, CAD tooling, and PLM is a plus in a fast-paced environment with ITAR considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years in an engineering design environment supporting production.
• Experience with PLM, configuration management standards, and basic electronics design.
• Familiar with CAD tools and drawing standards (Altium / ASME Y14).

Responsibilities

• Sustains engineering support for a product line.
• Manage product line configuration and change orders in Agile PLM.
• Coordinate release of engineering documentation and BOMs.
• Support manufacturing and suppliers with technical issues.
• Assist in proposals, reports, and contract reviews for production orders.
