Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a Functional Test / UAT Senior Consultant to join our team supporting a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The role involves developing test scenarios, executing tests, and validating complex financial workflows within an enterprise OneStream-based budget system.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 9+ years of experience in business/functional testing, strong analytical and documentation skills, and an active Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in business/functional testing.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience with requirements and defect tracking.
• Active U.S. citizenship with Secret clearance (or higher).
• Onsite 2–3 days per week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scenarios, scripts, and expected results.
• Execute functional and end-to-end tests.
• Validate financial calculations, workflows, reports, exhibits, and data.
• Document and track defects.
• Support regression testing.
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability.
• Support Government UAT sessions.
• Prepare test evidence and deployment-readiness documentation.
