Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a Functional Test / UAT Senior Consultant to support a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The candidate will join a cross-functional team implementing an enterprise OneStream-based budget formulation capability across Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

Responsibilities include developing tests, executing tests, validating calculations, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Business/functional testing experience.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience with requirements and defect tracking.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance (or higher) and U.S. citizenship.
• Onsite 2–3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC.

Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Functional Test / UAT Senior Consultant to join our team supporting a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The ideal candidate will work within a cross-functional Kearney-led team implementing an enterprise OneStream-based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Develop test scenarios, scripts, and expected results
• Execute functional and end-to-end tests
• Validate financial calculations, workflows, reports, exhibits, and data
• Document and track defects
• Support regression testing
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability
• Support Government UAT sessions
• Prepare test evidence and deployment-readiness documentation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience
• Business/functional testing experience
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Experience with requirements and defect tracking
• Must have an active Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)
• Ability to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC

Preferred Qualifications:

• Federal financial systems testing
• PPBE/budget experience
• OneStream experience
• Navy/DoD experience

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
