Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Field Support Representative III to operate and instruct on Unmanned Air Systems in the field, coordinating with engineering and support teams to keep training on schedule and current.

You will reflect product features in course material and ensure safety and procedure compliance. The role requires 5–8 years of related experience, military or equivalent training, and willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Prior military or equivalent training in aircraft/aerospace.
• Prior military instructor experience desirable.
• Willingness to travel regularly (CONUS/OCONUS).
• RC aircraft hobby experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and instructs on Unmanned Air Systems (UAS).
• Participates in the MTTP training program per MTMM.
• Ensures field operations follow procedures and safety.
• Conducts UAS equipment and material inventories.
• Advises on changes affecting training field operations.
• Maintains operational status of UAS and supporting systems.
• Captures data for after-action reports and lessons learned.
• resolves routine issues per company policies.
