Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Field Support Representative III to operate and instruct on Unmanned Air Systems in the field, ensuring safe operations and up-to-date course materials reflecting product features.

The role requires travel across CONUS/OCONUS, strong analytical and instructional skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while maintaining documentation and compliance with ITAR and FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent
• 5–8 years of relevant experience
• Prior military or aerospace manufacturing experience
• Prior military instructor experience desirable
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS (8–9 months/year)
• 2–3 weeks, 4–6 weeks, 90+ days deployment schedules
• FAA Part 107 training and deployment readiness

Responsibilities

• Operates and instructs on UAS
• Participates in MTTP training program
• Advises on changes affecting field operations
• Maintains UAS status and situational awareness
• Completes documentation for field ops and data
• Captures information for after-action reports
• Applies company policies to resolve issues
• Leads and mentors groups of students
