Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Field Service Representative II to operate and instruct on UAS, TMS, and UGV systems in the field, ensuring procedures and safety standards are followed. You will collaborate with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to keep training materials aligned with current product features, and you will participate in the MTTP program.

This role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS, and the ability to work under limited

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior military or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Prior military instructor/Special Operations experience desirable.
• Willingness to travel regularly within CONUS and outside CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Operate and instruct on UAS, TMS, and UGV in the field.
• Participate in the AeroVironment MTTP training program.
• Ensure field operations follow procedures and are conducted safely.
• Conduct inventories of all field equipment and materials.
• Advise Master Commanders, customer reps, and authorities of changes affecting field operations.
• Maintain operational status of UAS/TMS/UGVs and supporting systems.
• Maintain situational awareness of location, status, and threats.
• Complete documentation for field ops, data collection, and post-flight procedures.
• Capture information for after-action reports and lessons learned databases.
• Lead and mentor small student groups to meet course objectives.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication across disciplines.
