Navan is seeking a proactive Senior Benefits Analyst to own the day-to-day administration of U.S. employee benefits, including health and welfare, 401(k), and leaves of absence. The role requires strong U.S.

benefits expertise, experience with international benefits, and a drive to improve processes and support employees. You will collaborate with brokers, carriers, retirement recordkeepers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and excellent

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive experience in employee benefits administration.
• Experience with benefits brokers, carriers, retirement recordkeepers, and third-party administrators.
• Knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations: ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA.
• Independent administration of health and welfare plans, 401(k), and leaves of absence.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and HSA benefits programs, including enrollments and life events.
• Handle employee inquiries and escalations relating to benefits.
• Oversee 401(k) administration, vendor coordination, and compliance testing.
• Coordinate Leaves of Absence (FMLA/CFRA/parental) with internal teams and third-party admins.
• Maintain benefits data, conduct audits, and generate reports with Payroll and People Operations.
