Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lead Project Engineer - Turboshaft Engines to drive engineering projects from scope to delivery on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders, and report to the Sr.

Program Engineering Manager on a hybrid work schedule. This role emphasizes design-to-cost, risk management, and continuous improvement while mentoring early career engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 8+ years of directly related engineering experience in design, development, manufacture, or test of gas turbine engines or complex mechanical systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, test and in-service support activity on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as the single point engineering leader for the assigned scope with a diverse cross-functional team.
• Identify gaps and risks, manage workload, and monitor progress to keep projects on track.
• Lead trade studies and RCCA activities; communicate status to customers and stakeholders.
• Guide and develop early career engineers and collaborate with technical experts.
