Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a senior Project Engineer for the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team. The role focuses on leading systems and test engineering activities, maintaining IMS, and ensuring technical requirements are met on a hybrid schedule.

The candidate will report to the Sr Engineering Manager, collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, and drive program performance with a strong CAM focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM)

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including Control Account Management (CAM) activities
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns
