Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer – Propulsion Engines to lead and deliver complex propulsion projects from Phoenix on a hybrid schedule.

You will collaborate across teams to define scope, objectives and deliverables, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution with top quality results. The role emphasizes leadership of cross-functional teams, design-to-cost strategies, and strong customer communication to maintain project success and continuous improvement in propulsion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years directly related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, test and in-service support activities on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as the single point engineering leader for the assigned scope with cross-functional team leadership.
• Drive customer satisfaction and implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies.
• Leverage technical experts to review work and conduct trade studies and RCCA activities.
• Communicate project status with internal and external customers.
