Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer II for Turbopump Assembly in Long Beach, CA. You will own turbopump assembly development for Archimedes engines and support manufacturing leadership with critical deliverables for leadership, board, and investors.

You will mentor teammates, drive excellence through 5S and lean initiatives, and contribute to process documentation while collaborating with propulsion teams to optimize tooling and production throughput.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or similar engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in a heavy development manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of fluid and structural mechanics fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and coach people within the team on technical and professional development.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Contribute to engineering process development and documentation at Rocket Lab.
