Blisk Dynamics is hiring a turbomachinery design engineer to turn concepts into flight-ready hardware. You will own the detailed design of rotating and static components and perform your own structural analyses to ensure survivability before fabrication.

You’ll produce manufacturing-ready drawings with GD&T, run ANSYS FEA, and guide parts from concept through build and test, collaborating with shop and suppliers to optimize design for high-temperature, high-speed turbomachinery.

Qualificações

• B.S. or M.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or related discipline.
• 5-7+ years of serious component-design experience for aerospace or demanding applications.
• Expert with SolidWorks for complex parts, assemblies, and drawings.
• Able to run structural FEA in ANSYS: static, thermal-structural, modal, fatigue.
• Strong mechanics-of-materials fundamentals; stress, fatigue, tolerancing.

Responsabilidades

• Own detailed design of rotating parts (impellers, blisks, shafts, rotors) and static structures from concept to release.
• Produce manufacturing-ready drawing packages with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Run structural FEA (static, thermal-structural, modal, fatigue) to size and de-risk parts.
• Design for manufacturability across machining, casting, and additive with shop/supplier coordination.
• See parts through build and test and feed lessons back into revisions.
• Move fluidly across design-build-test loop as program needs.
