Job summary

Beehive Industries in Englewood, CO is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead the development of turbomachinery components for advanced jet propulsion systems. You will collaborate with engineers to create 2D/3D definitions, perform tolerance analyses, and ensure interface integrity using NX and SolidWorks.

The role emphasizes additive manufacturing and GD&T, with opportunities to scale design capability as the startup grows; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Design from an accredited university or college.
• At least 6 years of design experience on gas turbine components.
• Proficiency with design software tools such as NX and SolidWorks.
• Experience handling 3D scan data and creating parametric models.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design, analyze, and evaluate turbomachinery components and assemblies.
• Create 2D drawings, 3D models, tolerance stackups, and manage drawings/models per industry standards.
• Perform reverse engineering using scan data and create parametric models.
• Ensure GD&T conformance and interface requirements across assemblies.
• Support design reviews and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Document technical data following engineering best practices.
