Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer, TFE & Tooling Design at our Centennial, Colorado facility. You will design tooling, fixtures, and support equipment for turbine engine assembly, lead designs from concept to release, and collaborate across engineering to improve process capability, quality, and safety.

You will create detailed 3D models and drawings, perform tolerance analyses, apply GD&T and ASME Y14 standards, and support tooling fabrication and implementation on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in tooling or fixtures within aerospace/defense/mfg.
• Experience with 3D CAD models, drawings, and released documentation.
• Experience with dimensional/tolerance analyses.
• Experience with large or complex assemblies.
• Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment for development and production engine builds.
• Own tooling designs from concept through release, fabrication, and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to troubleshoot build issues and improve process capability and ergonomics.
• Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, tolerance analyses, and technical docs.
• Perform tolerance stack‑ups to ensure interface with engine hardware and assembly requirements.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14 standards to designs and drawings.
• Release and maintain tooling documentation per configuration management.
• Lead design reviews and drive manufacturability improvements.
• Provide technical support during tooling fabrication, inspection, and implementation.
