Beehive Industries is located in Centennial, Colorado and seeks an Engineer, Tooling Design Contractor to lead tooling and fixture development for turbine engine assembly and production. You will translate complex requirements into practical tooling solutions and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, GD&T, and ASME Y14 standards to drive efficiency, quality, and safety, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with 3D CAD and released design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment for engine build processes.
• Own tooling designs from concept through release and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to troubleshoot build issues and improve process capability.
• Create 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analyses for tooling interfaces.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14 standards to designs and drawings.
• Ensure documentation is released and maintained per configuration management.
• Lead design reviews with cross-disciplinary teams.
