Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, TFE & Tooling Design at our Centennial, Colorado facility to drive tooling design for turbine engine assembly. You will own concept-to-release tooling projects, collaborate with manufacturing and operations, and push for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in tooling/fixture design within aerospace/defense.
• Experience with 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and released documentation.
• Experience performing dimensional and tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Experience with large or complex mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred.
• Strong GD&T and ASME Y14 standards knowledge.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Design assembly tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment for development and production engine build processes.
• Lead tooling designs from concept through release and implementation.
• Troubleshoot build issues and develop tooling solutions to improve process capability and repeatability.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, tolerance analyses, and technical docs.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14 standards to designs and drawings.
• Release and maintain tooling docs in configuration management system.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate across teams.
• Evaluate manufacturability, performance, cost, and usability of designs.
• Support tooling fabrication, inspection, and production implementation.
• Manage multiple projects to meet schedules.
