American Electric Power in Jenks, OK is seeking a Senior Turbine Coordinator to lead planning, execution, and oversight of major turbine outages and related capital projects across a fleet of generating stations.

The role requires extensive turbine-generator maintenance knowledge, outage management, contractor oversight, and strong leadership to ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Minimum 8 years in power generation, turbine maintenance, outage management, or related utility experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading major maintenance outages and large multidisciplinary projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning and execution of major turbine and generator outages.
• Develop outage scopes, schedules, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate outage activities among Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contractors, and OEM representatives.
• Lead startup, commissioning, testing, and return-to-service activities following maintenance.
