Alliant Energy in the United States seeks a Lead Engineer - Power Generation to become the go-to technical expert for turbine assets while leading major outage projects, contractor management, predictive maintenance programs, and long-term equipment reliability initiatives.

This role combines deep engineering expertise with project leadership and provides significant influence on the performance and availability of critical generation resources.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission.
• 9 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Identify problems and safety solutions to design safe operating and maintenance practices.
• Lead highly technical problem solving using broad engineering principles and business insights.
• Develop cost-effective, technically sound recommendations with critical thinking.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to address complex technical or operational issues.
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance across multiple decision-making levels.
• Manage project budgets, accruals and forecast anticipated changes.
• Support generation facility outages and overall reliability initiatives.
