Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead advanced turbine design for aircraft and industrial gas turbines. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor engineers, and set engineering practices in collaboration with the Turbine Aerodynamics Design Board.

This role offers remote or onsite work with in-person onboarding on Day 1; base pay range $150,000-$190,000 USD annually plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery focus and 15+ years of experience (US).
• Master’s degree with 14 years of experience or PhD with 12 years of experience (US).
• European candidates: degree with turbomachinery aerodynamics emphasis and major relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead turbine aerodynamic design and analysis across multiple lifecycle phases.
• Promote systems thinking and risk mitigation with stakeholders.
• Mentor teams in DEQ processes and implement design improvements.
• Drive cross-domain collaboration to maximize business value.
