Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an experienced Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead design and analysis across high and low-pressure turbines for aircraft and industrial engines. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate with the Turbine Aerodynamics Design Board in a global, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery focus and 15+ years of experience.
Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery focus and 14+ years of experience.
PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery focus and 12+ years of experience.
European candidates: Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery focus and major relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Recognized as a subject matter expert in Turbine Aerodynamic Design and Analysis across product lifecycle.
Promote systems thinking and risk mitigation while engaging stakeholders.
Mentor and apply DEQ processes and robust product/process improvements to reduce variations.
Identify opportunities for design/process improvements across domains and sites.
Lead program issue resolution to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Drive cross-domain collaboration to maximize business value.
