Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Water/Basics team in Cincinnati, OH. You will inspect contractor work, maintain records, review submittals and RFIs, and support safe field operations on complex tunnel projects.

The role emphasizes coordination with engineers, testing agencies, and clients while adhering to QA/QC standards. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of heavy construction experience, an accredited Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction project inspection experience.
• Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience on tunnel projects or trenchless tunneling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction contractor work and prepare daily inspection reports.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and inspection/test plans.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and maintain project documentation.
• Witness field and laboratory testing activities and verify QC/QA programs.
