Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking Construction Inspectors for North American offices to support water, wastewater, and transit projects. Inspectors will work at project field offices, with shifts possible.

Candidates should have tunnel experience, trenchless knowledge, and a strong background in heavy civil construction. Responsibilities include daily inspection reporting, reviewing submittals, and ensuring adherence to contract documents and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with safety policies and field reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction contractor's work and prepare daily inspection reports.
• Review field submittals, RFIs, plan clarifications, geotechnical data, and CPM schedules.
• Monitor material receipt and on-site/off-site production activities.
• Ensure compliance with Contract Documents, safety standards, and agency requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Use PIMS or similar systems to prepare inspection reports.
