Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking Construction Inspectors for our North American offices. Inspectors will work at project field offices on water, wastewater, and transit construction projects, with available locations varying.

A successful candidate will have experience in heavy civil construction projects, tunnel work including trenchless experience, and be able to wear PPE and meet physical requirements. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications

Experience on at least two tunnel projects, including trenchless tunneling experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices.

Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor construction contractor's work and prepare daily inspection reports, including labor, equipment and materials.
Review and provide input into field related Submittals, RFIs, plan clarifications, geotechnical information and data, and CPM schedules.
Monitor the Contractor's receipt inspection of materials arriving on-site and on-site/off-site production activities.
Ensure progress compliance with Contract Documents, safety standards and agency requirements.
Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Utilize PIMS or other electronic systems for preparing Inspection Reports.
