Gresham Smith seeks a Senior TSM&O Project Manager for the Transportation Market in Charlotte. The role oversees client transportation management programs, leads TIM initiatives, and ensures contract compliance while coordinating with engineers, analysts, and first responders.

Ideal candidates bring deep project management experience, advanced technical writing, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; 15+ years of relevant experience or 20+ years in law enforcement, incident management, fire services, and/or emergency response.
• Experience in contract and staff management is required.
• Proven project management expertise.
• Advanced technical writing skills capable of producing comprehensive technical reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time and develop effective interpersonal relationships.
• Flexibility to support client activities outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in managing client transportation management programs.
• Organize and lead statewide TIM initiatives including first responder training and coordinating between clients and stakeholders.
• Support maintenance of TIM strategic and training plans.
• Direct project teams and ensure client compliance with contracts, MOUs, metrics, and commitments.
• Monitor reports and schedules; communicate actions to teams and clients.
• Analyze data and performance metrics; prepare reports and recommend improvements.
• Oversee TIM analysts, engineers, and other resources to maintain continuous operations.
• Coordinate software installation and configuration efforts.
• Collaborate with state and local traffic operations personnel and first responder teams.
• Develop traffic engineering studies and report program-level metrics.
• Manage client infrastructure assets and provide support as needed.
