Thomas J. Henry Law in Austin, TX seeks a proven trial attorney to lead and develop a team of litigators in a top-tier personal injury practice.

This leadership role oversees 4–6 attorneys and their litigation staff, guiding case strategy from intake through trial or resolution. The ideal candidate has extensive courtroom experience, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and a track record of handling Texas personal injury cases from intake to trial.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license required.
• 5+ personal injury jury trials preferred (Plaintiff or Defense).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 4–6 litigation attorneys and their support staff.
• Guide case strategy from pre-litigation through trial or settlement.
• Conduct regular case strategy reviews and ensure cases are developed aggressively and efficiently.
• Mentor junior attorneys in deposition practice, motion practice, negotiation strategy, and trial preparation.
• Ensure cases are thoroughly prepared and positioned for trial when necessary.
• Review pleadings, discovery, and case evaluations prepared by team attorneys.
• Assist attorneys with complex litigation issues, high-value cases, and trial preparation.
• Maintain high standards for client communication, case progression, and legal work product.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and exceptional client service.
