Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Traveling Electrical Superintendent for a multi-year data center project in Indianapolis. You will lead all electrical activities, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to strict safety and quality standards.

You will supervise ~100 electricians, coordinate with site managers and engineers, conduct cost analyses and budgeting, and travel extensively to manage multiple hyperscale builds across North America.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent.
• Experience on large-scale projects with budgets of $500M+.
• Mission-critical data center project experience preferred or EV/pharma exposure acceptable.
• Strong site coordination and leadership skills.
• Experience with cost analysis and budgeting.
• Union work experience (current or past) required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical construction activities including design, planning, installation, testing and maintenance.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers and teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage and oversee a team of ~100 electricians, ensuring quality and safety.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for electrical components of projects.
• Handle mission-critical aspects, ensuring robust and reliable electrical systems.
• Work on hyperscale projects, managing electrical needs of large-scale construction.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
