Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project executive to lead critical facilities-data centers in the Austin area, with 70-80% travel. The role reports to the Project Executive or Operations Manager and oversees multiple projects, teams, budgets, and schedules.

Key functions include building high-performance teams, managing contracts, QA/QC, and implementing BIM and Lean methods while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, specs and project schedule.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience implementing BIM and Lean to benefit projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate management of multiple projects.
• Develop and communicate Master Project Schedule and adherence.
• Manage budgets and financial reporting; analyze variances.
• Oversee QA/QC program and field operations.
• Foster owner, architect, subcontractor, and vendor relations.
• Drive safety protocols and compliance on site.
• Support preconstruction and drive use of Turner initiatives.
