Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project engineer/manager for the Critical Facilities-Data Centers division. The role focuses on leading MEP coordination, managing schedule, budget, and quality on a traveling assignment supporting data center, pharmaceutical, industrial/manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables projects.

You will oversee field teams, coordinate with subcontractors and owners, drive RFI processing, turnover, testing and commissioning, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and how they interrelate across project types.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Turner project team, subcontractors, owner's consultants to ensure optimal alignment and efficient systems installation.
• Manage budget including review, evaluation, and negotiation of change orders with understanding of subcontractors' financial status.
• Coordinate and lead MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer to ensure compliance with design, operations, and maintenance standards.
• Oversee schedule updates, RFI processing, and turnover/start-up/testing/closeout activities.
