Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical projects across multiple sites, with regular travel to data centers. This role focuses on design, construction, and commissioning while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a Journeyman certification, 5+ years of PM experience in electrical construction, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction and data centers.
• Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Journeyman certification is a must.
• Proven experience with 480 electrical systems, data, and power.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites and manage multiple projects.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion, including design, construction, and commissioning.
• Regularly travel to project sites to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, focusing on 480V systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Update management and stakeholders on project status.
• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
