Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to lead electrical projects, primarily in data centers, across various locations. The role requires extensive travel, strong NEC knowledge, and a Journeyman license.

You will support the Project Manager from initiation to closure, coordinate electricians, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards are met. ESOP and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical project management experience.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Experience with data centers, data, power, and electrical construction.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager from initiation to closure.
• Ensure electrical installations meet NEC and safety standards.
• Coordinate Journeyman Electricians and team members.
• Manage resources and timelines to meet budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Liaise with clients and contractors and provide updates.
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Update project plans as requirements change.
• Travel to various project sites and oversee on-site work.
