Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager with extensive data center experience. The role involves managing electrical projects across multiple locations, with frequent travel and a strong focus on safety, code compliance, and stakeholder communication.

The position combines project leadership with hands-on site oversight, supported by ESOP, a vehicle allowance, and a performance bonus program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical project management.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Experience with data centers, data, power and electrical construction.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager from initiation to closure.
• Ensure electrical installations meet NEC and safety standards.
• Coordinate Journeyman Electricians and team members on sites.
• Manage resources and timelines, keep within budget.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and specs compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders with updates.
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets and schedules.
• Update project plans reflecting changes in requirements or scope.
• Travel to various project sites to manage on-site activities.
