Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in learning and development or education-related field plus 2+ years of experience in learning and development, OR 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills to maximize effectiveness of learning and knowledge transfer.
• Understanding of adult learning methodologies and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Demonstrate facilitation and classroom management to ensure optimal learning.
• Promote an active and engaged learning environment within the Training Department.
• Collaborate across the organization to align training with needs and objectives.
• Manage new hires according to company policies and procedures.
• Coach and motivate employees; provide developmental feedback during training.
• Administer knowledge checks and report participant performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to coach trainees throughout programs.
• Hold learners accountable with documented coaching to defined metrics.
• Develop relationships to identify changes in workflow requiring new training.
• Perform other duties within the scope of responsibilities.
