Job summary

Erdman Anthony is seeking a Senior Engineer - Water Resource/Transportation in Pennsylvania to lead the design of our water resources program across transportation projects. You will manage permitting, hydraulics studies, drainage design, and coordination with project teams to deliver high-quality plans.

The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in civil engineering with 8–10+ years of related experience and a PA PE license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• BS or MS in civil engineering required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive technical experience in water resources and transportation.
• Professional Engineer license in PA or ability to obtain.
• Experience with PennDOT, DEP NPDES permits, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of the water resources program for PA transportation projects.
• Prepare reports, design calculations, and plan details per standards.
• Coordinate staff tasks and supervise timely, budget-compliant work.
• Attend project meetings and act as Task Manager when needed.
• Ensure designs meet scope, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform field tasks to ensure quality engineering outcomes.
