Job summary

Egis in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Transportation & Traffic Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership, project management, and strategic pursuit support for transportation planning and traffic engineering across Texas.

The role focuses on leading complex projects, mentoring teams, and advancing technical excellence while building relationships with TxDOT and stakeholders. A PE license in Texas is required or achievable within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience, with expertise in traffic engineering, planning, operations, and highway safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for transportation planning, traffic engineering, highway safety, and ITS/TSMO projects.
• Lead complex transportation engineering projects from planning through delivery and ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and resources; serve as primary client contact with TxDOT and other agencies.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to business development and pursuit efforts.
