Job summary
Stantec is actively seeking a transportation Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in highway, transit and rail bridges. The role involves assisting senior engineers in analysis, design, drawings, and specifications for infrastructure projects across California locations including San Francisco, Roseville, Fresno, Walnut Creek and LA.
Candidates should be licensed in California and proficient in structural design and relevant software, with strong teamwork and attention to
Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer in California.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years in structural design of bridges and infrastructure with Caltrans experience.
- Experience with design calculations, plans, and Caltrans standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and details for transportation projects.
- Design new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.
- Review shop drawings, coordinate with design team, and address site issues.
- Coordinate with clients and other departments to complete projects.
