Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transportation Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of highway, transit, and rail bridges across California. The role supports inspections and rehabilitation efforts and involves developing designs, contract drawings, and specifications for infrastructure projects.

Possible locations in California include Roseville, Fresno, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, and Los Angeles. The position is full-time, with part-time considered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
• 10 years’ experience in design of transportation structures (bridges).
• Caltrans standards knowledge and high-speed rail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings and details for transportation projects.
• Design new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.
• Review shop drawings and coordinate with design team; site visits to verify conditions.
